El Paso PD Det. Charles Heinrich Tribute
The Austin Chapter Probate Jess Eckard lead a ride to the Texas Peace Officer Memorial to pay tribute to a partner of his, El Paso PD Det. Charles Heinrich. Eckard and Heinrich were involved in a gunfight with a wanted subject on this date in 1983. Eckard was able to subdue the subject, but Heinrich had recieved a head wound that ultimately took his life.
A very somber and personal tribute was conducted at the memorial. Thank you to those that offered support, to include not only Austin Chapter, but also Bastrop and Alamo City.
Donation for COPS Kids Camp – Wisconsin
(TBL) Wisconsin Chapter presented a check for $2,000 to the COPS Foundation at the Renegade Pigs motorcycle clubs Black and Blue Ball event in support of COPS Kids Camp.
Thin Blue Line Foundation Raffle Winner
Congratulations to the Thin Blue Line Foundation motorcycle raffle winner, Kolton Kendall. He picked up his bike yesterday and members of TBL and the Foundation were there to congratulate him.
Johnny “Sully” Sullivan recognized with the Medal of Valor
Yesterday, Northshore Chapter VP, Johnny “Sully” Sullivan, was recognized with a Medal of Valor that inadvertently had not been properly awarded. The Monroe PD made good on their error.

New Braunfels Chapter Donations
The New Braunfels Chapter spent the afternoon giving out Holiday cheer to our community.
We first visited the Comal County Sheriff office and made a $1500 donation to the Green Santa program.
We then went across the street and made another $1500 donation to the Blue Santa program.
We then visited the Comal County Crisis Center and made another $1500 donation to the families living at their facility.
Earlier in the week we made a $1000 donation to a local Senior Center to purchase gifts for Seniors who have no family members near by.
It’s is a honor and a pleasure to give back to our community and try to make a small difference in people’s lives.

TBL FIVE-O Chapter Toy Donations
TBL LEMC is going to make some island keiki (kids) glow with smiles and joy this holiday season!
Following our Hawaii FIVE-O Chapter of Thin Blue Line LEMC’s December meeting, members headed out to make purchases for donation later this month. These toys/gifts are going to at need ʻohanas experiencing some very tough times this holiday season.

Tri County Toy Run Participation – Harker Heights Thin Blue Line chapter
TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) – On Sunday bikers from all around Central Texas raised close to $15,000 to make sure children in need have presents under the tree this Christmas.
Around 600 different motorcycle riders participated in the 31st annual TriCounty Toy Run of Central Texas.
The riders came from various motorcycle clubs and other local organizations like American Legion Post 273 out of McGregor.
”One of the things that we do at the American Legion is we make sure that we do toy runs in our community and make sure all the kids around here have a nice Christmas,” Ira Stine, with American Legion Post 273, said.
The 57-mile-long journey started at the Mayborn Center in Temple and went all the way to Putters and Gutters in Lampasas.
It was all put on by a not-for-profit of the same name as the event, called the TriCounty Toy Run of Central Texas.
”We saw one group earlier bring in a whole table of toys so they can raise donations throughout the year then donate,” Nayda Santana, with the not-for-profit, said.
Riders had to pay $20, or a toy of equal value, to participate in the motorcade.
”Every penny, every toy will be given back to children in our local community,” Santana said.
All donations will go towards 20 different nonprofits based out of Bell, Coryell and Lampasas Counties.
”In addition, this year we are providing bicycles, so that is also included,” Bruce Rayman, with the not-for-profit, said.
One biker nicknamed Woods with the Harker Heights Thin Blue Line chapter wanted to serve on Sunday after decades of serving his community in law enforcement.
”From the day I signed my name on that line to join law enforcement we took that oath,” Woods said. “I’m a cop on and off duty, so anything I can do to serve kids around the community I’m going to do it.”
Congratulations TBL Scholarship Recipients
On Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, the Thin Blue Line LEMC – Houston Chapter, awarded nine (9) scholarships to college students entering or are in their first year of college. The Houston Chapter every year, puts together a golf tournament and its sole purpose is to raise money for young men and women to help them with their college journey. These funds are made by golf team registrations, hole sponsors, auction items donated, and various donations to the event. Congratulations to all of our Scholarship recipients; Isabella Trevino, Brooklyn Ochoa, Ty Killough, Dylan Aguilar, Vivian Mendoza, Carmelo Hernandez, Sam Morgan, Genesis Granado, and Jonathan Silva.
This is the Houston Chapter’s biggest fund raiser event that we have every year, and we look forward to the event so we can “Pay it Forward” to young men and women of Police Officers, Deputies, Firemen, Paramedics, Military Veterans, members of the Thin Blue Line LEMC Nation, and Family & Friends who support the Thin Blue Line.
Harker Heights Back to School Supplies
The Healthy Homes Division would like to thank Thin Blue Line MC, the Killeen and Harker Heights Chapters and Aware Central Texas Killeen for their contribution to the Back-To-School Donation Drive.
The Healthy Homes Division is still collecting backpacks and school supplies for families in the community through August 4th. Donations can be dropped off at the Harker Heights Police Department located at 402 Indian Trail Drive. Please contact Healthy Homes at 254-953-5429 with any questions.
