The Brazos Valley Chapter financial assistance to two well deserving individuals. Retired Franklin Police Chief Hunter Lankart is battling a serious illness that is debilitating to his finances. We were able to assist him with doctor bills and other expenses.
Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy Bill Sullivan was recently shot twice answering a call of a possible suicide attempt. He was hit in his face and shoulder. Due to serious injuries to his mouth, which will require numerous surgeries, he is unable to sleep lying down. We reimbursed him for the cost of a motorized recliner that will be his bed for some time to come.
Not only were we able to assist these officers, they were notified they are on our prayer list. I ask each of you to keep these men and their families in your prayers also.
