The Hawaii chapter successfully aided the first drop of type 1 diabetic supplies to Lāhainā. The health center and response teams had nothing left for type 1 diabetic and insulin dependent ailments. We are returning next week to drop off more insulin, and the bulk of supplies we’re receiving over the next few days.

The Honor Ride featured famed Texas Ranger Captains Frank Hamer, and Maney Gault. COG detailed highlights of their lives and career, including Frank’s son, Billy Hamer, who was killed in action on Iwo Jima during World War II. He shared scripture and we all toasted
to these fallen heroes.
For history buffs, Frank Hamer was documented to have been involved with 50 shootings, 17 of which he received injuries, and of those, four were life threatening. Maney Gault was his best friend who he recruited into the Texas Rangers. These two were credited for tracking down and killing Bonnie and Clyde.
